So splendid an image, Googsy…years ago in Zurich, I spent hours watching the swans on the Zurich Zee…because when I returned to the States, I would begin painting the scenery for the ballet, “Swan Lake”! Such an inspiring bird, the swan–and thanks for this post, which brought back a marvelous memory!
I had all the production slides scanned two summers ago, Googsy, and then my computer totally ‘dumped’ and I couldn’t restore it. I know where they are, so perhaps I’ll scan just the finished images, as it was truly beautiful scenery!
What a beautiful photo. The drips of water coming off the brilliant orange beak are just perfect.
